First Defence was founded in 2016 to source the highest quality goods for the lowest possible prices. Our journey has taken us all over the world and we have grown our experience and established trusting relationships. These relationships allow us to identify and procure the finest quality products for our clients. As the world began struggling with the global pandemic, we leveraged these partnerships and established a reliable supply chain, bringing in more than 1.5million medical masks into Canada for use in hospitals and clinics. Covid-19 has severely impacted the livelihood of our friends and families. By providing critical medical supplies to those who need it most, we believe we can do our own small part to stop the spread and protect those who are most vulnerable.

Beau has always had a passion for solving complex problems and helping those in need. Whether it was diving for golf balls and selling them back to golfers at his hometown course, or working at Australia’s largest distributor of janitorial, health care, and cleaning products.
Beau has always sought to understand how businesses work. Beau’s lifelong journey through entrepreneurship and hard work landed him a men’s hockey scholarship at a Canadian University. Here Beau completed his schooling in business and entrepreneurship and further cultivated his passion for making the world a better place through socially responsible commerce. Upon graduating, Beau created HBF Distribution and has grown the business into a reliable distributor of medical products in Canada. When he is not working at HBF you will find Beau evaluating real estate investments, travelling the world, or enjoying time spent with his fiancé.

Mitch is a Charted Financial Analyst charter holder, he has an undergraduate degree in Economics, and a Master of Management in Artificial Intelligence. Mitch has always been curious about what makes a business successful and uses his education to explore the different levers a business can pull to drive their profitability. Mitch’s education has led him to hold several exciting roles at multi-billion-dollar companies. Recently, Mitch spent time creating groundbreaking digital innovations and deploying these to customers. Mitch now brings his diverse background and skillset to HBF where he manages the day-to-day sales and finances of the company. Mitch is passionate about helping others, which is apparent from his four years as a volunteer firefighter. When not at HBF you will find Mitch at a CrossFit gym, on the golf course, or hiking in the mountains.

With over 10+ years working within the marketing industry, Hannah has an undergraduate degree in Media Communications, majoring in Marketing and Public Relations.
Hannah is the Chief Marketing Officer at First Defence Face Masks and manages all digital marketing, website and public relations.
